XZERES Wind Turbines
ARE110
The ARE110 is a versatile turbine that can be used in a wide range of applications. This machine can generateremote energy for telecom sites, off-grid living, island power, and for critical uninterrupted power systems.
The ARE110 can also be used to provide low cost, reliable electricity to businesses, residents, churches and schools
to name just a few.
The ARE110 is designed to generate low cost energy through efficiency, reliability, and longevity.
Its simple design limits moving parts to reduce service and maintenance costs, and allow for easy installation.
This machine gets its name from its large swept area relative to its capacity rating, which in combination with high
performance blades enables it to generate more energy in lower wind speed at low rpm. This design reduces wear
and tear as well as noise generated from high tip speeds.
Direct Grid Connect System
Includes wind turbine w/ slip rings, WB 3000U (3kW) inverter, voltage
clamp, and diversion load. All with 5 year warranty
48V Battery Charging System
Includes wind turbine w/ slip rings, Voltage Clamp, Peak Power Tracking Charge Controller,
and diversion load. All with 5 year warranty.

ARE442
The ARE442 has the most efficient rotor design tested by a third party in the small wind industry today. Its performancehas been tested and validated by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and can produce up to 40% more energy
than its competitors of the same rating in some wind resources.

Tilt-up Pipe Tower
XZERES designed tilt-up towers are designed to work any size turbine up to 10kW. They are guyed pipe towers thatcan be raised and lowered with a winch. These towers are often the most affordable option, and eliminate the need of
a crane to raise the tower. The tilt-up configuration can be very beneficial for sites with limited access, as well as locations
prone to severe weather events such as hurricanes giving you the ability to lower the tower and turbine down to avoid damage.
Tower guy wire radius will vary with height of the tower, and the diameter of the pipe will vary with the size of the turbine
and loading requirements. XZERES Wind can provide hoisting rigging, and winch options, and other
accessories for your tower, as well as engineering support for site specific foundation designs and drawings.
Tower heights offered - 43-127ft
Guyed Lattice
Guyed lattice towers (GL) are an affordable tower option for systems of all sizes. These towers are narrow, three-legged,steel lattice structures with three sets of guy wires every 120 degrees. These towers have a relatively low cost/height ratio,
especially as they get very tall compared to other tower options. Because of the relatively small amount of steel, the guy
wires provide a significant portion of the structural integrity. Unlike the tilt-up pipe towers, these towers generally require
cranes to be erected, but can be climbed to service the turbine. As a result the guy wires have a wide radius, which can
be 70-80% of the height of the tower. In some cases the foundation footprint for the tower may not be suitable depending
on the size, value, and use of the property.
Tower heights offered - 60-160ft
Self-Supporting Lattice
Self-supporting lattice towers (ssl or ssv) are tapered, three (sometime 4) legged structures. These towers have a muchsmaller footprint compared to guyed towers, which will vary depending on tower height and size of turbine.
Generally ssl towers require more steel in the tower design, and more concrete in the foundations than guyed towers.
SSL towers require cranes for erection as well as any major component removal or replacement, and can be climbed for
service and maintenance. XZERES Wind can design service cranes that can be mounted on the tower, and with a
winch can be used to raise and lower the turbine on and off the tower without the need for a crane.
Monopole
Monopole towers are often the first choice for most clients usually for their aesthetic value and small footprint.
Monopoles are also the most costly tower option. Because they have such a small footprint relative to their height
they require more steel and greater foundation requirements than other tower options. XZERES Wind works
with raw material providers, designers, and other manufacturers all over the world to assure that we can provide
our clients with the highest quality monopoles at the most competitive price. XZERES also provides monopole
towers with a mechanical tilt-up design as an additional option.
