XZERES 110

XZERES 110

The XZERES 110 is a versatile turbine that can be used in a wide range of applications. This machine can generate remote energy for telecommunication sites, on and off-grid living, island power, and for critical uninterrupted power systems. It can also be used to provide low cost, reliable electricity to businesses, residents, churches, and schools to name just a few.

This machine gets its name from its large swept area relative to its capacity rating which, in combination with high performance blades, enables it to generate more energy in lower wind speed at low RPMs. This design reduces maintenance requirements, and provides for quiet operation.

Engineered Performance

XZERES Wind manufactures wind energy systems built from the ground up for performance, reliability and value. The XZERES 110 is capable of generating 419 kWh per month at an average wind speed of 12 mph, and features a simple design with minimal moving parts to reduce maintenance and provides for quiet operation.

A reliable, efficient source of renewable energy, the XZERES 110 solutions cover a broad range of applications, from residential, commercial, remote energy supply, community power, island electrification, telecom, hybrid, and specialty solutions.

On Grid

direct connectThe XZERES 110 system is designed to plug into the power grid. The system includes wind turbine with slip rings, 3 kW inverter, turbine controller and diversion load.

Off Grid

The XZERES 110 off grid system includes wind turbine with slip rings, battery charge controller with turbine peak power tracking, three stage charging and diversion load. This system is perfect for off grid living applications in conjunction with solar, or stand alone. Other applications include remote irrigation locations requiring off grid power.

Marine

marine The XZERES 110-M features corrosion protection for marine coastal applications. Surface finishes, fasteners, and electrical enclosures are compliant with industry standards for marine, estuary, and coastal environments with high salinity, but are not intended for direct spray or submersion.

Turbine Diagnostics

Turbine health is important for sustained uninterrupted energy production. The XZERES Turbine Controller's on-board diagnostics system records performance metrics and allows for laptop connection via an USB port. Performance data can be downloaded and used to determine turbine health.

Cost of Energy
Total cost of energy has been calculated by XZERES based on company generated data. Wind energy systems include the turbine, tower, inverter and controller, and assume the use of a 40-foot monopole tower.Ā Total cost of energy includesĀ estimated installation costs, which can vary significantly based on location. Includes annual maintenance costs of 0.5% per year of total system cost for products with 10-year warranty. This model assumes 30% federal tax credit and a 25% state rebate. This analysis assumes energy usage equals energy output.
